Adam Michael has this to say “Egyptian geranium is a staple material within aromatherapy due in part to a plethora of uses, highly antiseptic, fungicidal, cleansing, pain-relieving, reduces inflammation and promotes the forming of scar tissue thus helping wounds to heal etc. Geranium is commonly used in massage to treat acne, bruises, burns, cuts, dermatitis, eczema and ulcers etc and is well received generally amongst all ages because of the pleasant aroma.
The aroma is very straightforward, lots of light, soft, rosy floral geranium character with spiced rose watery qualities and a faint green-minty tingle. Produced by steam distilling the leaves, yellowish in colour and of a pourable viscosity. A diffusive material that provides freshness and body to floral and citrus creations, good for building cost effective rose accords, green accords and for me this pairs very well with honey absolute.”
